Ryan Callahan

Founder & Editor-in-Chief

Ryan started EVThrottle because he was tired of car coverage that read like marketing copy. He believes American drivers deserve straight answers — what a car costs, what it actually does, and who it's really for — without the hype cycle.

His days run on EPA filings, earnings calls, and long stretches of highway testing charging networks in the real world, plug by plug. Ryan covers the EV transition as a markets story as much as a machines story: battery prices, factory bets, and the policy fights that decide what shows up in your driveway.

When he's not writing, he's usually arguing that the most important spec on any EV is the one nobody advertises — how it charges at 10 p.m. in February.
