EVThrottle is an independent automotive publication. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Emails you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter or send us a message through the contact form, we store the email address and name you provide so we can reply or send the newsletter. That's the only personal information we ask for.
- Basic technical data. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider logs routine technical information (pages visited, browser type, approximate location from IP address) to keep the site secure and running.
- Cookies. We use a small cookie (stored on your device) to remember whether you accepted or declined cookies, plus the standard cookies any ad network we use may set. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time.
Advertising
We plan to show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ads Settings page. We never sell your personal information to anyone.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your email address or any personal information.
- We don't track you across other websites ourselves.
- We don't collect payment information — the site is free to read.
Your choices
Want off the newsletter list? Every email has an unsubscribe link, or just contact us and we'll remove you. Want us to delete the information you sent us? Email us and we'll do it.
